Mr. Martinez is one of the few players in baseball history to have played for four different major league teams in a single season. In 2000 he started with the Devil Rays, then played for the Cubs and Rangers before finishing the season with the Blue Jays. His first trade, from the Cubs to the Expos, was allegedly because he was rumored to be sleeping with Cubs star Ryne Sandberg's wife. He is currently the bench coach for the Tampa Bay Rays, just eliminated from the playoffs by the Rangers. I thank him very much for signing.
