Mr. Walewander was a fan favorite who never really had the chance to live up to expectations. Highly touted when he was drafted he was stuck playing behind Alan Trammel (October 18, 2011). He retired after having played 162 days, exactly one full season, over the course of six years. I thank him very much for signing.
