Mr. Bream was a good major league baseball player with a career defining moment. In Game 7 of the 1991 National League Championship Series, playing for the Braves against the Pirates, he slid into home plate just under the tag. His run ended the game and sent the Braves to the World Series and began one of the longest (and, to my everlasting annoyance, least ultimately successful) dynasties in sports history. I thank him very much for signing, and for being safe.
