June 28, 2011 - No Hitter(s) - 175 Cards!

Steve Crawford (P) - June 27, 2011 - Response time: 12 days

Teams: Red Sox, Royals

Mr. Crawford was primarily a relief pitcher, but also an emergency starter, during 11 years in the Majors in the 80's and early 90's. The high point in his career came in the 1986 postseason with the Kansas City Royals. He went 2-0 in the postseason, including picking up the win in game two of the World Series. I thank him very much for signing and would like to say hello to Brianna and Mrs. C., and Wes.

Bill Dawley (P) - June 27, 2011 - Response time: 12 days

Teams:  Astros, White Sox, Phillies, Cardinals, A's

Mr. Dawley was primarily a relief pitcher during his seven year career. He made a notable appearance his rookie year in the All-Star game, coming in mid-inning and shutting down the American League after Fred Lynn (November 29, 2010) hit a grand slam. I thank him very much for signing and would like to say hi to Glenn and Luke.

Bob Forsch (P) - June 27, 2011 - Response time: 11 days

Teams: Cardinals, Astros

Mr. Forsch is one of the very few pitchers in Major League history to throw more than one no-hitter in his career. He threw two and they were the only two ever thrown in old Busch Stadium. He is also one of the only pair of brothers (his bother Ken being the other half) to throw no-hitters. He was also a very good hitter, for a pitcher, with 12 home runs in his career. He won a World Series with the Cardinals in 1982. He is currently the pitching coach for one of my favorite teams, the Billings Mustangs! I thank him very much for signing and Glenn and Luke get another shout out here!

Scott McGregor - (P) - June 27, 2011 - Response time: 138 days

Teams: Orioles

Mr. McGregor was an All-Star in 1981 and won the World Series with the Orioles in 1983. He was a solid member of the Baltimore staff for 13 seasons. In the deciding game of the '83 series, Mr. McGregor pitched a complete game shutout to seal the victory for Baltimore. I thank him very much for signing.
