John Farrell (P) - March 29, 2011 - Response time: 25 days

I am particularly proud of this response.  When came across Mr. Farrell's card and discovered that he is the current Manager of the Toronto Blue Jays I panicked.  I figured it would be very hard to get a Manager to respond in the middle of the season so I disrupted my normal sending routine and sent the card directly to the Blue Jays spring training complex, hoping to catch him before he left for Toronto.  I was in luck.  I thank him very very much for signing.  Since he was once an Indian, I would like to say hi to Lauren, my favorite Cleveland fan!!!  Also, since he is the current manager of the Blue Jays, James gets a very special shout out!


Frank Lucchesi (Manager) - March 29, 2011 - Response time: 7 days

Teams (Player): Mr. Lucchesi is one of the rare managers who was never a major leaguer

Teams (Manager): Phillies, Rangers, Cubs

As I mentioned above, Mr. Lucchesi was never actually a Major League ballplayer, which is very rare for a manager.  He worked his way up from managing in the minors.  I thank him very much for signing.  A special shout out to Arthur and Ande, my favorite Cubs fans!
