February 28, 2011

I netted five more over the weekend (four on Friday and another on Saturday) including my first San Francisco Giant!!! Now I just need an LA Dodger and I'll have one from every team!

Dave Dravecky (P) - February 26, 2011 - Response time: 17 days.

Teams: Padres, Giants

Mr. Dravecky is the first 1988 San Francisco Giant from which I have received a response.  He was an All-Star in 1983 and I thank him for signing.  I would like to recognize Kelly Steiler, a hard core Giants fan and (belatedly) congratulate her on the teams championship.

Jerry Don Gleaton (P) - February 25, 2011 - Response time: 107 days

Teams: Rangers, Mariners, White Sox, Royals, Tigers, Pirates

Mr. Gleaton is the third person to reference John 3:16.  I thank him for signing.  As a Royal, I would like to give a shout out to Ethan, as well as Roger and the entire KC crew.

Ken Schrom (P) - February 25, 2011 - Response time: 9 days

Teams: Blue Jays, Twins, Indians

Mr. Schrom is right.  He was an All-Star in 1986 but unfortunately did not make in into the game.  I thank him for signing and I would like to recognize Lauren, my favorite Cleveland fan.

Dale Sveum (3B/SS) - February 25, 2011 - Response time: 78 days

Teams (Player): Brewers, Phillies, White Sox, A's, Mariners, Pirates, Yankees, Pirates
Teams (Manager): Brewers

Mr. Sveum won the World Series as a New York Yankee in 1998 and again as a coach for the Red Sox in 2004.  I thank him for signing.

Tom Trebelhorn (Manager) - February 25, 2011 - Response time: 112 days

Teams (Manager): Brewers, Cubs

Mr. Trebelhorn is one of the few players in the set never to have actually been a Major League ballplayer.  He had a minor league career before he became a manager.  I thank him very much for signing.
