Mike Maddux is probably best known for his (soon to be hall-of-fame) brother Greg. Mike lost his first game to Greg in 1986 and proceeded to pitch for 10 teams in his fifteen year career. He is currently the pitching coach for the defending AL Champion Texas Rangers and it is to the team that I sent his card back on October 29, 2010, just the fifth day of my project. I thank him very much for signing and I would like to give a (likely) final shout out to Kristen, Rosemary and Annemarie.
Jerry Mumphrey (OF) - July 18, 2011 - Response time: 48 days

Mr. Mumphrey was an All-Star in 1984 when he was the Astros lone representative to the mid-summer classic. He is also part of the first trio in MLB history to have three teammates each steal 50 or more bases in a season (1980 San Diego Padres- Gene Richards, Ozzie Smith). I thank him very much for signing and Arthur, Ande and Kyle get shout outs as Cubs fans!
