Now, moving on.
Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd (P) - June 20, 2011 - Response time: 6 days
Teams: Red Sox, Expos, Rangers
Mr. Boyd is one of the more colourful characters in modern baseball history. The nickname "Oil Can" comes from his drinking days in his home of Meridian, Mississippi where beer is referred to as oil. Mr. Boyd. His career was cut short by injuries but that hasn't stopped him from attempting a comeback to the majors at age 51. Best of luck to him! I would like to say hello to Mrs. C., Tori and Brianna. Also Wes gets another shout out. Finally a posting of Oil Can would be incomplete without mention Jim who is his biggest fan. I thank him very much for signing.
Greg Booker (P) - June 20, 2011 - Response time: 7 days
Teams: Padres, Twins, Giants
Mr. Booker pitched in all or part of eight seasons in the majors, from 1983 until 1990. He is married to the daughter of current/future/maybe Marlins manager Jack McKeon who once traded his own son-in-law. I thank him very much for signing.
