Before I do anything else I would like to offer my congratulations to the University of Connecticut Huskies for their victory in last nights NCAA National Championship game.  They were the better team last night and deserved to win.  Well done guys.

I would also like to, one final time, give a shout out to my Butler Bulldogs.  Thanks for a great season guys.  You make me proud to be from Indianapolis.  Go Dawgs!!!!

Don Carman (P) - April 4, 2011 - Response time: 157 days

Mr. Carman is interesting for a couple of reasons.  First of all, he blows away the record for the longest response time.  Second, this fact is apparently not a new development for him (news story).  He was also, apparently, known as a bit of a prankster in his playing days.  At one point in his career he got tired of repetitive questions from sports reporters so he posted a list of 37 cliche responses on his locker and told reporters to take their pick of answers.  I would like to thank him for signing and say hello to Rosemary and Kristen and, since she is now following the blog, Mrs. K. as well.
