Mr. Loynd only played for two seasons but, prior to his major league career, he was the winner of the Golden Spikes award, which goes to the nations best amateur baseball player. He actually included, in addition to the 1988 Topps card I sent to him, a 1987 Topps card as well, so I now have an autographed copy of every baseball card he was ever on. I thank him very much for signing.
